Welcome to Disney town. My daughter is begging and begging and begging to go to Disney World, but that's tomorrow's adventure. Well, today's. It's just after one in the morning and of course, I can't sleep.
It's been a CRAZY few days in Florida. Three shows, three nights. We'd initially planned on going every other day, but that didn't make any financial sense when we looked at the schedule. When it's only a few hours from city to city on the East Coast, we might as well kick as much ass as possible.
Tonight was a night when Crushed Souls was on the bill. God we rocked it. Seriously. The crowd was HUGE and were completely into it from start to finish. There were some seriously hot girls at the front. Seriously. They must put something in the water down here. But in the 45 minutes we had, we just put everything into it. Sage (our lead guitarist) was fucking INSANE with what he was pulling together during his solos. I just let him take the lead and the path we went on was fucking surreal. And then Time Machine's set was fantastic. 2 and a half hours of kicking ass. Even the slower songs on the set list had people jumping. It felt great. One of the best shows so far on the festival. We tried something new with Saved Soul and took the guitar completely out of it and I took the lead with the violin and Phil on the piano. IT WAS INSANE. I've never seen so many people totally into the song.
Okay, I'm finishing my drink and trying to crash. I'll have a kid wake me up in just a few hours ... :)
